Send a Quick Hello with Video Sharing
We all like to record short videos on our phones, of everything from funny things our kids say, to cute snaps of dogs and cats just being themselves, to sweet messages to send to loved ones.
Has your elderly loved one ever wished they could feel more like they are "part of the action"?
Now they can stay more involved with our new Video Sharing feature from JubileeTV! You can send up to three videos at once, and each video can be up to two minutes long. Videos must be in the most commonly used video formats: mp4 or mov. Note: video sharing is only available from your phone, not from your computer.
JubileeTV Home Screen Update
Your loved one will see a new tile on the JubileeTV Home Screen, called “Videos”. They’ll be able to replay the videos as many times as they wish! That sweet goodnight kiss from the Grandbaby can be rewatched over and over again.
To share your favorite short videos directly from your phone to your loved one’s TV:
- Open the JubileeTV App
- Go to “Manage Photos and Videos” , then “Send Video”
- Select which video(s) you’d like to send, or choose to record a video
- Choose “Upload Video”
- Thumbnails of videos you’ve sent will appear in Photos and Videos/Videos. You can choose to delete videos there if you wish.
Seniors can also request videos from their family contacts from The Hub - a quick reminder to let family members know that Grandma likes to be included, too.
We hope you enjoy video sharing - our latest addition to help you stay connected with your favorite senior!
