Table of Contents
1. Multi-way Calling
Video calls with up to 4 people.
Group chats on the TV without handing off phones or setting up Zooms. Multi-way calling makes group video calls on TV super simple.
You can host video calls with up to four people at once, so your parent or grandparent can connect with multiple family members at the same time on the JubileeTV.
How it works:
Your aging loved one + 3 others on-screen at once
Family members can continue their conversation even after the senior has left the call
Ideal for group check-ins, grandkid time, birthdays, or including doctors and caregivers
The TV becomes a natural gathering point, eliminating the need for seniors to hold devices or manage complex controls during important conversations.
How to use Multi-way Calling:
Open the JubileeTV app and start a Video Call (works with both regular and AutoConnect).
Tap More , then Add someone to this call.
Select participants from your loved one’s Contacts. Up to 4 total people can join.
Everyone gets a notification and appears directly on the TV (as long as your loved one is part of the call).
2. GuestLink
Send a link. They click. They’re on the TV.
No apps. No logins. No teaching your uncle how to use FaceTime. Now, anyone you invite to a call can join with a one-time link sent by email. They don’t need to download anything or create an account.
This enhanced communication feature lets anyone join the conversation with minimal technical knowledge—perfect for video calling less tech-savvy family members.
Works on any phone, tablet, or computer
No app required—just tap the link
Perfect for extended family, friends, doctors, or care managers
How to use GuestLink:
Start a Video Call in the JubileeTV app.
Tap More , then Invite with GuestLink .
Enter an email address to send the one-time link.
The guest taps the link and joins instantly—no setup needed.
3. Telescope Talk Mode
Talk through the TV while controlling it remotely.
Helping a loved one find the right channel or fix an issue? Now you can talk directly through their TV, see their screen and control it from your phone all at once.
Speak through their TV from the JubileeTV app
The TV auto-mutes while you’re talking
Change channels, open Netflix, troubleshoot issues, and walk them through anything in real time
No need for step-by-step texts or long phone calls. It’s like being in the room. This senior-friendly feature makes it simple to provide tech support for senior family members directly on the TV without the frustration of explaining complex steps over the phone.
Pro tip: Start a photo slideshow from Telescope by typing "slideshow" into the command box, turn Talk Mode on, and you have a simple, engaging way to share family memories with your loved one.

Open the JubileeTV app and tap Telescope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can seniors have group video calls on their TV?
Yes. With JubileeTV's new Multi-way Video Calling feature, older adults can connect with multiple people at once through their TV. They don’t need to press buttons or manage devices—the TV handles it all.
Do I need the JubileeTV app to make a video call?
Yes— caregivers need the JubileeTV app to start or manage video calls. The app is where you control calls, add participants, send GuestLinks, and access features like Telescope Talk.
However, guests do not need the app. With GuestLink, you can invite anyone to join a call by sending a one-time link via email. Guests simply tap the link and join directly in their browser—no app or account required.
Can I see what’s on my loved one’s TV screen with JubileeTV?
Yes. With JubileeTV's Telescope feature, you get real-time visibility into what your loved one is seeing. Turn on Telescope Talk mode to initiate a two-way audio session while using Telescope. This makes it easier to guide them or troubleshoot remotely.
Do these new features require seniors to do anything?
No. All three features—Multiway Calling, GuestLink, and Telescope Talk—are controlled by the caregiver. Seniors don’t need to answer a call, click a link, or operate a device. The experience is hands-free and built around the TV they already use.
