SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 10, 2025 — JubileeTV, the first app-to-TV caregiving system, has been named an honoree of Fast Company’s 2025 World Changing Ideas Awards. Recognized in the Social Equity and Accessibility category, JubileeTV was selected for pioneering a bold new approach to care that supports families who live apart and aging adults who want to remain at home.

By 2034, older adults will outnumber children in the U.S. for the first time in history, while the number of available caregivers is rapidly declining. Families are under immense strain, and traditional caregiving models, built for proximity, cannot scale to meet this new reality.

“Our mission is to solve the aging and caregiving crisis,” said Ashish D. Aggarwal, Co-founder and CEO of JubileeTV. “We’re building technology that lets families support their loved ones from anywhere, while helping older adults live independently, on their terms.”

JubileeTV turns the television, a screen older adults already know and trust, into a modern caregiving tool. Through a mobile app, family caregivers can remotely manage the TV, check in discreetly, send reminders and photos, and initiate video calls without the older adult needing to touch a button. The system now powers over 10,000 daily care moments across homes nationwide.

“We're redefining what aging looks like for an entire generation,” Aggarwal added. “JubileeTV gives families the tools to care proactively while helping 90 million Americans age with dignity in their own homes.”

Selected from over 1,500 entries, JubileeTV joins breakthrough innovations across multiple sectors. Fast Company's Summer 2025 issue (on newsstands June 17, 2025) will feature select award winners working on solutions such as a spinal cord stimulator for people who've been injured, modular bus shelters in Los Angeles, and AI to help eliminate counterfeit drugs.

“The World Changing Ideas Awards have always been about showcasing the art of the possible,” says Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. “We’re proud to recognize the organizations and leaders that are making meaningful progress on the biggest issues of our time.”
