Every family has that moment.
Mom randomly tells the story about meeting Dad at that dance in 1962. Grandpa's eyes light up sharing his fishing tales. Your parent says "I'm proud of you" out of nowhere on a random Tuesday call.
By the time you think "I should record this," it's gone.
That's exactly why we built Moments & Stories, our newest features that help you turn everyday conversations into timeless keepsakes.
Through Moments, you can capture spontaneous snippets — a laugh or “I love you”— during any of your calls. Through Stories you can plan questions — “what are you most proud of?” or “what traditions do you hope our family keeps alive?” — and record the heartfelt responses you want to hold onto. Together, you’re able to cherish memories with your loved one forever.
Read more about our newest features below.
Let's be honest. You've probably tried the whole "Hey Mom, can you repeat that story for the camera?" thing. Suddenly, the natural moment becomes stiff. The magic disappears. Or worse, you fumble with your phone while Mom wonders why you're not paying attention.
Meanwhile, that perfect, unguarded conversation where Dad actually opened up about his childhood? Nobody hit record.
Starting today, those precious snippets are automatically saved. No scrambling for your phone. No asking them to "tell it again for the camera." No complicated tech that frustrates Mom. Natural conversations with your aging parents, preserved exactly as they happened.
Here's how our two new features work:
Think of Moments as your safety net for spontaneous magic. It continuously buffers the last 2 minutes of every JubileeTV video call.
That unexpected "love you too, honey" at the end of your call? Saved. Dad's perfectly-timed joke that made everyone laugh? Captured. Mom blowing kisses to the grandkids? It's yours to keep.
Tap the red Record button any time during a video call to instantly save a video clip of the previous two minutes
View saved videos in the "Memories" section of your JubileeTV app after the call
Download videos to your device or share privately with selected family members through the app
Nothing changes for your parent – they enjoy talking with you while the technology quietly works in the background
Stories is for those times you want to be intentional about capturing family history using a photo or a question prompt. Show Dad his old Navy photo on the TV screen and ask him to share what he remembers. Ask Mom about her secret apple pie recipe. Get Grandma talking about what life was like growing up.
You control everything from your phone while they see text or photo prompts on their familiar TV screen. Frame the shot perfectly on their TV. No laptop to balance, no phone to hold – comfortable conversation from their favorite chair.
Perfect for capturing:
Family history and heritage stories
Life advice for future generations
Holiday traditions and family recipes
Answers to "What was it like when..." questions
Messages for milestone moments (graduations, weddings, birthdays)
Choose a conversation starter or upload a family photo and frame the shot
The prompt or photo displays on their TV while you hit record from your phone
Save, share, or post memories straight from the app.
Your memories stay yours. Every recording is stored with HIPAA-compliant security – the same standards used for medical records. You decide who sees what, and nothing is ever shared without your explicit permission. These are your family's private moments, and you control how they're shared.
These features will be rolling out for all JubileeTV members in coming days, included as part of your membership. Your parents don't need to do anything – their TV experience stays exactly the same.
We want the moments you share today to be the memories you share forever. And we’ll continue innovating to make connection and caregiving easier and more joyful for families everywhere.
